How our campus student portal became an open source community project
Started as a solo project to view college bus routes. We open-sourced the repository, wrote contributing guidelines, and in 6 months, 24 students across 4 batches contributed features like mess notifications, timetable sync, and dark mode. Building in public is rewarding!
